Co-founded by Dr. Anita Borg and Dr. Telle Whitney in 1994 and inspired by the legacy of Admiral Grace Murray Hopper, AnitaB.org’s Grace Hopper Celebration conference is designed to bring the research and career interests of women in computing and technology to the forefront.

About the Grace Hopper Celebration India (GHCI)

The Grace Hopper Celebration is the flagship event organized by AnitaB.org. It is the largest technical conference for women in India and the US. AnitaB.org India has been successfully organizing the Grace Hopper Celebration India (GHCI) since 2010, witnessing a significant growth year-on-year. GHCI 17 had 4000+ attendees, 46 sponsor companies, 74 sessions and 184 speakers. GHCI focuses on the career, research and entrepreneur interests of women in technology. Speakers at the conference are leaders and experts in their respective fields from industry, academia and government. GHCI attendees can look forward to networking, learning and getting inspired from role models. GHCI 18 will have technical and non-technical tracks, the Tech Expo, Career Fair, Poster Session, TechTalks and more.
