GHCI 18 Track: Tech for Good

The Tech for Good track invites submissions in the space of technical innovations for social development challenges. This includes architectural advocacy, new-age design, application of machine learning and deep learning algorithms, engineering solutions and novel technical approaches to solve problems in areas related, but not limited to:

  • Women’s safety
  • Health and fitness
  • Drug discovery
  • Accessibility/Disabled – friendly technologies
  • Agriculture and farming
  • Electronic waste management
  • Civic engagement
  • Water management
  • Affordable power and housing
  • Traffic management
  • Urban planning
  • Access to education
  • Sustainable healthcare
  • Emission control

Solutions and tools using Open Source technologies are encouraged and should be highlighted, if present, in the submission.
