Myntra Acqui-hires Startup InLogg, Congratulations Preeti Jain!

Preeti Jain, a highly talented member of the AnitaB.org (ABI) community has made us very proud! InLogg, a startup co-founded by Preeti was acquired by leading fashion e-tailer Myntra last week (April 19, 2017). Preeti has been among the Women Entrepreneur Quest (WEQ) contest winners in 2015 and a Grace Hopper Celebration India (GHCI) volunteer for a few years.

We had a chance to catch up with Preeti after this splendid news. Here is what she had to share.

Tell us a little more about your logistics company InLogg getting acquired by Myntra?

InLogg is a B2B tech platform to enable logistics for e-commerce and retail. InLogg has built a country wide supply chain network by on-boarding regional logistics vendors. It improves tech sophistication of regional partners by providing cloud based SaaS product to manage shipment life-cycle from booking to delivery. I am very excited to see that InLogg will now be part of the Myntra supply chain technology. Myntra delights customers by providing best logistics services. InLogg will join hands to provide services to far corners of India.

What do you think are the drivers that have led to this milestone in your career?

Over twenty years I have worked in fintech, internet storage, storage management, virtualization, digital advertising, Flipkart marketplace and logistics. During this journey I have worked as a developer, product manager and above all a curious learner. The main driver to take the entrepreneurial path was my conviction for the business opportunity and to take the plunge.

What have you enjoyed and really cherished about your career as a tech professional and entrepreneur so far?

The variety and complexity of the problem you get to solve as a tech professional is very fulfilling and keeps me excited. The entrepreneurial journey was all about conviction, passion and relentless execution amidst the chaos.

What are your next plans?

I am looking forward to working with the Myntra team to innovate in the area of supply chain. Lack of infrastructure in India poses interesting challenges for e-commerce. It will be great to work with a very talented team on solving them.
