Rekha M. Menon is the chairman of Accenture in India and is responsible for building Accenture’s business and further strengthening the company’s presence in communities across India. She is also responsible for Accenture’s institutional relationships with public authorities and industry associations. She continues to be engaged in Accenture’s Inclusion and Diversity and Corporate Citizenship initiatives.
Rekha joined Accenture in 2004 and in her previous roles led Human Resources for Accenture’s Growth Markets and Geographic Operations for India, ASEAN and APAC Delivery Centers for Accenture.
Before joining Accenture, she had been part of executive management teams at Talisma Corporation, Levis Strauss, Akzo Nobel and Cargill Inc.
Rekha has over 24 years of industry experience. A gold medalist from the XLRI School of Business, she now serves on their board of governors. She is also a board member of Pratham Books and the Akshara Foundation (a non-profit organization which works with underprivileged children). She lives in Bangalore and has active interests in hiking and long-distance cycling.
