The Women Entrepreneur Quest (WEQ) is organized by India. This popular contest  identifies and rewards women entrepreneurs, who are founders of technology startups. In 2014 India and the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India entered a partnership, under which the winners – WEQ Top 6 were sponsored for an all expenses-paid learning visit to the Silicon Valley. The Indo-US Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF) plays an integral role in supporting and organizing WEQ. The objective of this visit was to expose the winners to the entrepreneurial culture of Silicon Valley and give access to networks, guidance and inspiration in the world’s tech hub.
